Sponsoring 2XX means you are giving back to, and linking in to the heart of Canberra.
Our Sponsors form a vital part of the 2XX community, helping us to provide training, equipment and support to over 100 volunteers.
Canberra’s oldest station, 2XX has strong community links and a unique relationship with its listeners.
We’re creative, for the community, and our programs are as diverse as our listeners. We offer a unique opportunity to build meaningful Sponsorship engagements that make a difference.
We have a highly engaged listenership, a growing online audience and a strong social media presence.
1 in 3 Canberrans listen to Community Radio. Their average listening time is 11.6 hours per week.
2XXFM listeners tend to be light consumers of commercial media and instead, our audience enjoys the dynamic of community broadcasting:
Many have tuned in or supported the station for decades.
Sponsorship means you support 2XX by contributing funds to our overall running costs. We broadcast 30 second Sponsorship announcements or ‘spots’ to thank all of our Sponsors.
As a community radio station, we only ever broadcast up to 5 minutes of Sponsorship announcements per hour.
A ‘spot’ includes details about your business or organisation and a thank you, but it differs from advertising, in line with the CBAA guidelines.
A Sponsorship Agreement includes a minimum of 10 spots. You may choose when we broadcast these: for example, during ‘drive time’, lunch time, or a particular program.
